Well, it’s finally time for us to leave Toronto!!

Everything’s packed, locked and ready to go!
We had a bit of weird karma all trip. There was a freak thunderstorm in Toronto, either the rain from Vancouver as a gift to Toronto, or someone telling us not to leave!! There was a regular one hour lineup to get through Air Canada check in, and with a stroller, two car seats, a cat in a bag, and 4 luggages, it’s a wonder that we made it through the ‘Special Assistance’ line.

I swear, if they ever have an Amazing Race for young families, I want in!! And we would win!
People kept looking at us like “How are you even doing this right now???”
With a three hour flight delay, one gate change, it’s a wonder that The girls slept the entire flight!! I was more concerned about Leonidas, as his sedative had worn off halfway through the flight. He was safe and sound also, just a bit discombobulated.

By the time we arrived, it was 2am Vancouver time, which was 5am in Toronto for the kids. There was not enough grounds crew, so the luggage took an hour to get out, plus another two delayed flights from Toronto had arrived with us. Then I had to repackage the Jenga/Tetris luggage cart and it took another hour to find a taxi van at 3am. After about 17 Toyota Priuses passed us by, a van finally came and got our stuff. Then as we were just getting en route, we were sallef behind a construction crew that were moving a whole entire house!! I guess 4am would be the time to do that, but geeze.
Definitely a weird karma trip back, safe to say we slept during our first day!
Mama, I’m home!
