Cherish the Weekends?? And an insanely busy day packing, getting some final stuff together before the movers come in and haul it all away, and still trying to figure out what to throw out and what to keep. I’m pretty sure we are going to have to have a garage sale once we get settled into our new place. I thought about setting up an eBay store, but really, I just want to get rid of stuff as fast as possible.

Brooklyn on the other hand was busy practicing some dance moves on the couch. Oh the life of a three year old. She’s definitely too smart for her own good, and she’s processing things extremely fast. My strategy of “expecting the worst and be pleasantly surprised” has been modified to include “Explain things to Brooklyn in a way that she’ll understand, and the melt downs will be less and less because she knows what to expect”. Hopefully this move, the flight, the new house, and everything will result in as little melt downs as possible. Yah, right.

Rock Star Brooklyn made an appearance today. With the 30+ degree heatwaves striking Toronto, Brooklyn will have to get used to the moderate summer and layering needed for Vancouver weather.

We had to have dinner with our cousins from my Pop’s side one last time. They are pretty horribly sad that we’re leaving. Even though we’ve been here for 10 years, we were just starting to get closer and closer. We will miss their hospitality, their generosity, and their sarcastic sense of humor that runs in the whole family.

LOBSTER TIME! GET IN MY BELLY!!!!
