Cherish the weekends! And it’s our last weekend in Toronto!

With our move to Vancouver, not to worry! Leonidas is coming with us! We had to take him to the vet for a checkup and to get some sedatives for him for the 5 hour flight.

The best part about taking this week off of work wasn’t the packing boxes, and certainly wasn’t the cleaning and purging of all the stuff we don’t need anymore and were just hoarding it. It was certainly spending some quality time with the littlest Ninja while Brooklyn was at her last week of daycare.

But today was a special Saturday. We are certainly finding special places to put stickers these days like on our foreheads! Silly Brooklyn!

And Amerie in her Sumo Wrestler Ponytail looks incredibly cute!!

As part of our last Weekend in Toronto, we didn’t go up the CN Tower. We have actually NEVER been up the CN Tower, not because anyone’s afraid of heights, just because we haven’t ever gone.

Instead, we decided to catch a Blue Jays game with a few of our friends! Once again, we had really really bad seats! (Thanks B.Humain!) And we even got to park in the supersecret underground VIP parking lot!

Brooklyn decided that she was going to get some Tattoos today, so what better than two Blue Jays tattoos??

I’m pretty sure that this is not a precurser for her to get tattoos done when she’s a teenager, but one never knows…

And as for Amerie, she was definitely more used to the game and the noise this time around than her first baseball game. Yes, I’m realizing that moving away from Toronto is going to make it challenging to have these girls raised around major sports, but we’ll just have to find other ways to get them to more sporting events, right??

Brooklyn is usually freaked out by the Jays mascot “Ace”, but this time she was actually looking for him. She was still freaked out whenever he came close, but she was beginning to warm up. a bit. a tiny bit.

We are usually never at a sporting event without pretty good seats. This was no exception.

The roof was open, the sun was shining, and it was definitely a great way to spend our last sporting event as a family! The Jays even won 5-1 and we got to see a couple of home runs!

I will certainly miss this place, the Skydome. I will say though that if Toronto wants to have any respectability as a baseball city, they are going to HAVE to build a BASEBALL ONLY stadium with real grass and a new retractable open roof in order to get to the upper echelons. The Skydome was cool for what it was back in the 90′s, but for today’s day and age, the landscape has changed.

And we even got to see some people on top of the CN Tower doing the Edgewalk!!

Brooklyn even ended up pooped at dinner, so she fell asleep right in the booth!
Song of the Day: Still Dre – Dr Dre ft Snoop Dogg
BC’s Brett Lawrie’s plate entrance song. So dope.
