Cherish the Weekends continues!! And being one of our last weekends in Toronto, I decided to break out some stunt footwear.

Presenting the Reebok x BBC Pharell Ice Creams! In yellow and green with diamonds and dollar signs, I secretly love to wear these shoes only to have people stop me and say, “OMG do you know how much those are worth? I can’t believe you’re wearing them!!” Shoes were made for wearing, youngins.

We decided that we wanted to have a picnic with all of our closest friends and family (even distant family) out at High Park. Brooklyn wasted no time digging in to the fruit plate before anyone showed up!

And the little ninja Amerie was happy to see all the other kids running around, playing, laughing, and taking in the sunshine.

Probably THE bestest part of any Philippino being at your picnic, BARBEQUE skewers!!

Brooklyn also wasted no time checking out the brand new playground there built by Holmes on Homes!

She even had enough courage to get on the tunnel slide all by herself!

And there’s no playground trip for Brooklyn complete without a ride on the Swings. They did a really great job on this playground except that there’s no shade where the kids play. Tons of kids were getting dehydrated in the sun.

Oh and Broolyn wanted to show off her angel/fairy wings all day, and of course everyone just LOVED them.

Brooklyn also went to the mini zoo out at High Park, but I couldn’t get pics of them there only because it smelled really bad and I didn’t end up tagging along with them!

And what outdoor picnic is complete without BUBBLES!! Thanks Aunty Pat for bringing the bubbles with you!
We ended up getting rained out around 6pm, but we did get our 7 hours’ worth of picnic in. We do thank everyone that came out and everyone who brought so much food! We had to leave hastily because of the torrential rain, and we had to take all the food with us! There was not even any time to split up the leftovers, which defeated the purpose of making it a potluck in the first place!

And then of course there was this little Princess who was SOOO tired out, and so dirty and muddy from the rain, that she couldn’t even keep her eyes open when we got out of the parking lot.
