So it’s officially official. I’ve resigned my position at Fraggle Rock, and I’ve signed the offer letter from Vancouver!
So, at the end of the month, we will all be moving back to Vancity!
After 10 long, eventful years, in the words of Rafiki the Baboon, “It Is Time”.
What was originally supposed to be a 2 year stint, turned out to be 10 years, and absolutely NO regrets whatsoever.
Of course there will be a handful of things that I will miss about Toronto, but inevitably, they will all be here when I’m gone, and even when/if we return.
In the long run, and for the benefit of these two little ninjas, the move to Vancouver just makes way more sense.
There will even be things I will miss about the Industry, as I’ll even be leaving that arena. Shhhhh, don’t tell them though (I haven’t even told them yet).
The rest of this month will be chocked full of transition, finding a new place, organizing a move, finding new schools, planning flights and physical transitions, and all the fun things that go along with moving.
